Q. I have sent something to the printer, and it is not printing. What should I do?


When you send something to the printer, it goes into a print queue, and depending on how many other documents are in that queue, and the size and type of your document, it may be a minute or so before your print job actually starts printing. If you send something and it does not begin to print immediately, wait about a minute. If it still has not print, go to the Serials Desk around the corner from the printer, and let the worker there know. That worker can check the print queue to see if your job is being held up, and may be able to relaese it if it is being held. Do NOT continue to sent the same print job over and over. If it did not work the first time, it won’t work the second, the third, or the fourth. Trust me.
